And even though he says NATO’s eastward expansion led to the war, does he actually take the step to say NATO shouldn’t have expanded? He seems more descriptive than prescriptive whenever I see him speak. |

A country is either sovereign or its not. Russia had already blocked NATO and likely EU succession with 2014 nonsense. The 2022 bullshit was not justified or good for either the rus or Ukraine.
Usual suspects upthread taking seeming pleasure in suffering is horrible. Russia will lose more from this war than Ukraine. Neither country can afford the demographic results of this war but Ukraine will be flooded with EU/US money for a long time to come which will help it bounce back.
