Charcoal for one use is at least $3. And this assumes you’ve got all your condiments/pickles at home already. So you can make a bunch of burgers at home but it still costs a fortune. |

Plus you are forgetting - depreciation and maintenance on the grill, the car used to get the groceries, the shoes and clothes worn while making the dinner, the knife used to cut the onion, etc - the time spent on all of the above and resulting forgone earnings - negative externalities like having to wash ur hands before and after handling the beef, after handling the charcoal, having to load the dishwasher, etc - costs of electricity for light while they prepped the food, ate, and cleaned up, costs of A/C to cool his enormous body during the sweltering Houston March evening, costs of water to prep and clean up, etc
Basically every moment disco is alive is costing him tens of thousands of dollars and ruining him. |
