The thing with these 'wait and see' guys is they know people have weird growths in and on them for decades without a problem, so why cut you open for what is essentially a mole on your pancreas? On the other hand, if its bigger in 6 months, you are definitely getting surgery. Until then, let this be a wake up call to live a better life, mind body and soul. |

health is fine otherwise. normal BMI, exercise 6-7 days a week for an hour, very healthy diet, etc. |

remind yourself that the doc said it looks completely benign when you get anxious. as the prayer goes, you need to accept what you can't change with serenity, and in this case you can't do much during your long wait other than staying/becoming healthy in all other ways.
if that doesn't work then you probably need anxiety meds and therapy.
hope this turns out to be nothing brother. you need to figure out how to stay positive and maybe distract yourself if you think about it too much. |

i'm fucking terrible at accepting things i can't change. health is fine otherwise. used to be on SSRIs for anxiety, and they did nothing. maybe it's time to try them again. |
