If you read the replies under this retired ship captain, he shows that the accident was the fault of the coastal pilot, not the regular pilot of the ship, and the mistake was that the coastal pilot put the propeller in reverse which caused the ship to take a turn starboard and crashed into the bridge.. this Captain states that the coastal pilot should have done nothing really and just continued on and let the ship be grounded in the mud
