Just one more illustration of how someone competent who was elected with a mandate to *actually* "drain the swamp" would indeed have to *actually* "drain the swamp," as in fire virtually every single federal government employee. As well as have tens of thousands of his own people organized and ready to immediately fill those bureaucratic positions. As well as have his own paramilitary organization to enforce the firings and removals of all of these people using force if necessary
The amount of organization and capability that it would take for a democratically elected "President" to actually take real power is almost unimaginable. If a group of people could actually achieve this, they wouldn't even need to win an "election." People would beg for them to take power just because they'd be so self-evidently superior and fit to rule, like Moldbug pointed out long ago |
