I just learned it and it’s really sinking in now, and I’m mad for not realizing it sooner. Success is grounded in IMAGE OVER SUBSTANCE!

If you remember this, and view everything you do under this lens, and ask yourself, if what you’re projecting is an attractive image, then you’re golden. It doesn’t matter how low quality the substance. Window dressing is everything. Whether it’s getting a girl or a business deal, it’s all about image.

I’ve been spending my whole life thinking the opposite, working on myself. Working on improving the quality of my product. It’s never been about that. I had this sense of superiority that I’ve been doing things “the right way.” None of that crap matters. Yes, have integrity. But that’s it, emphasize image
