Wine bottles scattered like last night's clothes
Cigarettes, papers, and dominoes
Well, she laughs for a minute 'bout the shape I'm in
Says, "You be the sinner, honey, I'll be the sin"
I'm gonna holler, and I'm gonna scream
I'm gonna get me some mescaline
She brings me roses and a place to lean
A drunken poet's dream

I don't know why you're messing with all this shit. There's so many bad things that can happen. Chronic psychiatric issues, permanent negative personality changes, extremely bad trips where you end up doing something dangerous or criminal...
Literally everyone either knows someone personally or has a friend of a friend who got bit hard by these things

Yes, a former coworker of mine who I was friendly with died in a single car DUI wreck. I also have a friend whose brother wandered out onto some ice when he was drunk. He fell through & drowned.
Me and several friends have DUIs.
That's pretty much the point here. Drinking and driving is completely harmless the vast majority of the time. It's 180 until it's not. The consequences don't start at "mild", they start at "bad" & they hit the "catastrophic" end of the range too often.

I have more experience with DUIs than *anyone* on xo. In my career, I've defended at least 50. Prior to my legal career, I was a paramedic and likely dealt with another 100 or so. I have been called to testify as a paramedic multiple times.
My rule is simple: I do not drive if I drink. It's not quite a one-drop rule, i.e., if I have a single drink, yes, I will drive two hours later. But effectively, this is a one-drop rule.
It's just not worth it.

is there a reason you summarized this instead of quoting it?
"In a 2010 study of psychedelic users, 23.9%[verification needed - such a number is not reported in the paper] reported constant HPPD-like effects, though only 4.2% considered seeking treatment due to the severity.[58] In a 2022 double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 142 subjects received LSD, psilocybin, or both, reported no cases of HPPD, and up to 9.2% of the subjects had flashbacks which were "transient, mostly experienced as benign and did not impair daily life".[17]"

You just need to be really fucking careful with ketamine. I personally know several people who got the telehealth delivery shit, liked it a lot, and got hooked on street K. It is addictive, and the addiction is hellacious.
Also know one guy who gets his from a dealer that had a bad batch about a month ago. Fent took out 7 people who bought.
Stay the fuck away from ketamine. It's not even that fun.
