Pale Rider is the story of another corrupt mining company, which hires thugs to chase individual settlers off their claims. When that doesn't work, they hire a team of marshals, which are nothing more than hired guns, to do the trick. Clint Eastwood kills them all. There's an anti-gc message if I've ever seen one.

additionally, the biggest thing that makes it anti-gc for me is that the real world in the film slowly breaks down into poverty and rioting. the real world is falling apart yet PSH spends all his time creating this fantasy world within a world. he loses his wife, his daughter becomes a stripper, the world is collapsing in on itself, and all PSH does it become more and more enmeshed on a narcissistic fantasy escape world.

i don't really see the western movies as anti-gc; they embodied a particular moment of the zeitgeist, they maybe LOOK anti-gc in retrospect but that is not how they were received at the time. just like watching archie bunker now looks amazingly anti-pc but that is not how it was perceived at the time, or even married with children or any of the 80s action movies, etc. everything looks anti-gc when you look back on it 20 years later but it's false; we're just further along the egalitarian ratchet effect than we were back then

I think its more productive to simply make a list of actual movies and lump everything else as propaganda.

Youd end up, in the first list, with xo approved films as diverse as big budget hollywood movies about a cowboy to extreme arty movies about a criminal. They simply tell a great story about a man and are not propaganda
