Subject: holding a 15 century medical diagram of a LABRUM

1. We have the hypnotic, trance-like state that screens bring on a mind and body. Many of us have become very aware of these things, and a whole new category of law, with top doctors working along top lawyers in kind, must be devised to study these things and their effects on thought and speech. Frankly "computer crimes" on the books that are not related to explicitly malicious instances of fraud, hacking, identity theft, child exploitation, and other crimes with real world counterparts that are easily identifiable by all in good standing as acts of malice must go. There is simply too much "new" going on here that very few people understand, most of which is covered by the pleromatic umbrella of rights that our freedoms of speech, expression, and religion entail us who happen to be lawful citizens born in this country.

2. There are so many layers of satire, counter-satire, ludic action, references to references to references, memetic warfare (defensive and offensive), all sorts of artistry, theater derived from flavor of the week jokes and textual references and apparently bizarre idk "technologies" going on here that it is impossible to determine what is actually being said or why without direct and uncoerced testimony on what a statement means or its gossamer thin social context entailed. Divorced from the context that this is a law school admissions forum populated by maybe 50 very mentally ill but gifted individuals sharpening their understandings and wits and enjoying a bit of fraternity and camaraderie at times, much of this makes very little sense. It cannot be judged by outsiders; and criminalizing confusing and convoluted art just because you do not like some of the words being used or the characters involved is absurd and a new hallmark on the road to unjust and barbaric political repression. The left is entirely wrong and uncharitable on this; I may not care in the slightest for the ready-mades of Duchamp or the unfortunate yet understandable vagaries of Piss Christ, but I support the rights of the makers of these things to put them out. The creative spark that exists within many is strange and often unpleasant, but gagging the speaker simply because you do not like or understand their works is fundamentally against the values of this great and hallowed nation, a country that thrives on social conflict and churn to put out better and more correct things, a country with a place for just about every soul blessed enough to be granted a vessel within it.

edit: edited for "on topic" brevity

P.S. A blemish to the faces of my enemies, placed inopportunely on a particularly sensitive area of the lip or eyebrow, so I may know them by this mark when they approach. May they have a constant & irritating but implacable ringing in the ears between the hours of 5 and 6 pm that compounds their frustration with the commute home---a commute which is likely in the Californian prefecture, sorry to say it. Thank you

we definitely have less fun around here these days.

I'm not sure if this is just us aging, leaching out the jdv, or something more general and sinister.

good poast

Aging, "the times", and also computer is just sort of draining albeit not in a wholly terrible fashion. I personally place a lot of blame on the central planners for their arrogance and possibly malice w/r/t the actions the bureaucracies of BIGHEALTH and the state took during the COVID years. It cannot be stated enough how much damage "lockdowns" and state imposed paranoia did to the customs and organic conditions of an otherwise well functioning social body, a social body comprised of individuals such as yourself, especially after the fog of the initial events declined and fell to the wayside when eg megadeaths, crippling secondary symptoms, etc simply did not manifest. The fact that there has not been an acknowledgement amongst the mass about what all those years entailed for their mental health and the well being of their communities---including for those "made invisible" by this or that trauma relating to those years---should be a cause for all to stop and reflect on the big questions about what governance should consist of in the US, on what our once great state has become under the academically lauded but populism-divorced empowerment bureaucracies increasingly unaccountable to the public have received in the long march through the institutions began under FDR and his war-time expansions of state power, and countless other things that our flagging and heavily ideologically colored history departments in academies across the nation have failed to explain in universally American, thought-and-question provoking sentiments to the minds under their ward

Also for here specifically it simply got too mean at points and this was usually the cause of my random long absences as well as other poasters I've spoken to about the topic

There's also a swathe of poasters just spamming low IQ non-contributive gay sex threads and relentless, artless, and aesthetically hideous demoralization spam to gum up the discourse and the distribution it might have elsewhere as well as to generally just drag it into a sewer of unfunny and/or uncredited muck, and there's not really an easy way around this
