Date: April 19th, 2024 6:09 PM Author: Dun Talented Queen Of The Night Reading Party Had my appointment with my new oncologist today. Appointment was good- dr was very nice and optimistic. She wants to get me started on chemo by next Friday or the following week if they can schedule it. Treatment Will likely be a combination of chemo and radiation to start. She said she is not sure yet what the duration of treatment will be yet but every 2 weeks for 4 months is typical.
She said They will have a thorough academic discussion with other drs in the gi oncology department at a meeting on Wednesday to finalize a treatment plan for me. |

What your doctors will never tell you (because they probably don't know) is that cancer is a metabolic disease. Cancer cells ferment glucose and glutamine. You have orders of magnitude more glucose in your bloodstream than glutamine. Cancer cells ferment like 30X the amount of sugar that healthy cells need. Eat ZERO carbs. Your liver and kidneys will make all the sugar your body needs and you will reduce the energy available for the cancer cells.
If it were me I'd still do everything the doctors say but I'd also be zero carb and start fasting for 1-3 days at a time if higher than 15% bodyfat. |
