He struggled with numerous self-esteem issues growing up, so his mother taught him how to ingratiate himself with others. Unfortunately, he began to apply this tactic not only with influential people but also with ordinary people to foster social cliques.
He basically mastered the art of making others feel indebted to him and they end up aligning with him on stuff. This bolsters his sense of self-importance and superiority. |
