I saw a small asian guy get jumped by two average sized white guys who were trying to rob him (I think they scoped him out in a nearby store and were taking whatever he just bought). This was in a busy part of nyc, pre smartphones. Like 20 of us just stood by and no one tried to help. Even some cabs were just looking on in stopped traffic but no one said anything. The Asian guy who must have been college aged was just crying for someone to help him and holding onto this bag of stuff for dear life. Eventually it was too much and he had to give up the bag and was completely bloodied and broken after.
Felt bad immediately after but if someone has a knife or gun you’re fucked in a situation like that. At least that’s how I justify being a cuck in that situation. |
