Obviously not if you're a white male and want to get tenure or study Liberal Arts, but if you're content to research some random shit it seems like a fun way to travel, work in new places, not have too much job stress, have entire summers off, and, most importantly, have unlimited access to 18-22 YO undergrads.
Adjunct seems mfcr if you're already a rich lawyer and need access to the undergrads, but non-tenure track associate professor seems chill if ur not a striver. I want to do a semester abroad in Istanbul right now but I'm a shitlawyer and that's not really a thing in this profession
