After that it's a steep drop-off. Even taos (which has a good reputation) is kind of a shithole outside of the actual ski area. Albuquerque was filled to the brim with homeless even 15 years ago, so today I bet it's literally the worst city outside the 9th circuit with regard to your odds of stepping in what looks like a harmless pile of human feces and getting jabbed by a discarded hypodermic needle hiding underneath.
Cool scenery, though. It's the type of place I'm glad my country owns. |
