the financial system is too valuable and full scale war is too costly.
see ukraine/russia war. its really a proxy war between china/US. a full scale war is simply too costly for anyone powerful

To be fair,
LMAO
Bro sit down for this -- even if you think Russia has put on an embarrassingly bad military performance in Ukraine, it still has a T5 military in the world, and that's not even counting the nukes. That's just a straight up fact. (Perhaps that's more of a commentary on 98% of the other militaries out there, but it is what it is.)
So right now, at this very moment, we have a T5 military invading the largest country in Europe and slogging it out against a coalition of other powerful countries who are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to fight a multi-year WWI-style brutal land war that will probably end up killing >1 million people.
You: "Yeah, sure, but we'll never see another REAL full scale war involving a REAL major power ever again!"

WW1 had a middle eastern theatre
The Middle Eastern theatre of World War I saw action between 30 October 1914 and 30 October 1918. The combatants were, on one side, the Ottoman Empire (including the majority of Kurdish tribes, a relative majority of Arabs, and some Iranian peoples), with some assistance from the other Central Powers; and on the other side, the British (with the help of a small number of Jews, Greeks, Assyrians, some Kurdish tribes and Arab states, along with Hindu, Sikh and Muslim colonial troops from India) as well as troops from the British Dominions of Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, the Russians (with the help of Armenians, Assyrians, and occasionally some Kurdish tribes), and the French (with its North African and West African Muslim, Christian and other colonial troops) from among the Allied Powers. There were five main campaigns: the Sinai and Palestine, Mesopotamian, Caucasus, Persian, and Gallipoli campaigns.
