Will university trouble "work itself out" as # of HS grads plummets?

After the class of 2025, the baby bust begins and may never really end.
Waves of colleges will go out of business and those on the top may actually have to compete for students, right about the time that virtual learning becomes credentialed enough for hiring.

Nathan D Grawe is a professor who covered this in his book “Demographics and the Demand For Higher Education”. Download it, it’s fascinating. He agrees that the Northeast and Midwest will pay a heavy price for their low birth rate, compounded by out-migration. The Sunbelt states will do better, with the best schools experiencing no serious decline in head count. The elite universities are in a league of their own and will prosper as always.
Flagship state universities will most likely steal all the best students and faculty from regional colleges as the pool of eligible students slowly contracts.
The real problem, which no legitimate author will mention but XOXO can, is not that birth rate is going down. It’s that WHITE birth rate is going down, as well as Asian. You can invite all the retarded niggers and Spics to college as you want, but they will not get the same outcomes as white students, ever. So the slowly dwindling pool of students is actually quickly dwindling once you limit the consideration to actual high achievers.

all birthrates are decreasing. Black fertility is down to 1.67, which is the kind of number we used to mock South Korea for in 2010
Whites got a little bit of a head start but it's a decline across the board

also not sure if you're new to xo but we don't condone the use of racially derogatory terms here. thanks,

they're just going to let anyone with a pulse in
the kind of women who are going to get "education" degrees in the next 10-15 years should frighten you to the bone. just pray God it doesn't hit engineering departments

Second part of my op didnt really get addressed.
Say college serves the following social functions, without bothering to order them:
- contains immature adults for a while before allowing them into society
- clusters demographics / phenotypes together so that they can bond before their careers
- gives some small percentage of students pre-professional training
- creates a tiny amount of scholars / scholarship
- sorts future employees by status and potential
This last one, in conjunction with the clustering types together, grants employers enough data to make informed decisions. "Okay, time to hire 5 prestige school alumni, 10 state school high gpa'ers, exactly 3 blacks sufficiently whitened by college, and 5 hr fat women.
This function can and will be served by performance on online learning platforms.
It is employers who are sustaining the current model, but the only benefit they get out of it is well-organized data. They can get that elsewhere

-trains young people to vote the way the ptb want them to
this ensures a steady stream of gov't funding, rendering the rest irrelevant

i have little doubt that not much "learning" goes on online, but not much more learning goes on on campus.
There are a few industries that hire college grads expecting proof that the grad knows something and can do something already. These future employees are the type who *will* gain the knowledge on their laptop at home as much as in a seminar on campus. Employers have no reason to indirectly support the undergrad scam except for its reliability in credentialing these smart kids, which it is doing worse every year. A dam will break when big tech just starts hiring people with online credentials.
There is the other group of students, who don't know shit, and have to be trained everything anyway. This is like 90%. Right now, a bachelors tells the employer that the person is sufficiently socialized not to be expelled, and capable of some direction, as evidenced by their GPA. But these are conditions that can be met in other ways, and I think they will be.

I'm not convinced. Sure, one can learn to code online and become a competent SWE, but I think that's the rare exception. Nobody is going to hire a doctor or nurse or physical therapist (or any other health science professional) who went to an online school. And I doubt that many employers are going to want to hire science/engineering types who got an online degree with no laboratory or hands on training. What other "professional" bachelors degrees can one do online without sacrificing essential learning? Maybe accounting? That's not going to be enough to put brick and mortar schools out of business.
And for non-STEM (and some STEM) degrees where they care more about the credential than they do about what you learned in school, given that online degree programs are almost 100% non-rigorous (and cheating is rampant), why would you hire someone with an online degree than someone with a legitimate degree, even if it's from a TTT? Someone who graduated from a brick and mortar university managed to make it to class and take tests for four years without failing out, which should weed out the most extreme incompetent people. Someone with an online degree may have just hired a dude in India to take all his classes for him.
TLDR: There's lots of issues that need to be worked out before online universities become a serious threat to brick and mortar universities.
