We don't know what happened but I'm 99% sure it was suicide, if not, an OD. Our mother died two weeks ago and he seemed to be taking it well. He had a wife and a nine year old boy. My initial reaction was anger, and while I still feel angry, I just listened to Corona by Minutemen and burst into tears. That stupid fucking Jackass theme song reminds me so much of him.
He was 19 years old when I was born. He stayed with us for a year when I was around 7 or 8. We'd watch South Park and Jackass together in secret because my parents were fundamentalist Christians and wouldn't let me watch stuff like that. Fuck. I'm going to cry every time I hear this fucking song now.
