(Last pic is of my dad with a pup. Sadly his dad made him wring the puppy’s neck shortly after the photo was taken, to prove to him that sometimes rural whites need to “do what is necessary”)

Rach it seems like this thread isn't being displayed to my fellow rural white posters who are dominating this thread: http://www.xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=5523660&mc=81&forum_id=2
Is this part of the server malfunction?

Everyone already knows your family history. You’ve posted your childhood house on this bort multiple times.
You still don’t know the first thing about animal husbandry or hunting, and your pictures do nothing to provide any evidence you do.
So just to get everyone on board in this thread: did your retriever maul chickens and then perfectly retrieve pheasants? (not that you’ve ever pheasant hunted; I don’t think there’s a single pheasant within a two hour drive of your childhood hometown)

(animal husband)
We didn't have a retriever. I only went with relatives in Holyoke, and the only thing their dog was good for was flushing.
Now, since this thread is where we post our proof of our rural bona fides, I'm looking forward to all the pics from the family farm where you grew up.

You specifically said that dogs that kill birds are no big deal in a duck hunt or pheasant hunt because the dogs just flush and retrieve. Now we find out that you neither had a retriever nor even hunted with a dog that retrieved!?!? And by the sound of it, you barely even hunted.
Humor us all here and tell us what kind of loads you used and the make/model of your gun. Surely a bona fide country boy like you can give us an in-depth description

That was in response to your retarded assertion that a dog who will kill a bird “ain’t no good as a bird dog” (this was when you’d thought the role of a bird dog is to protect birds, like sheepdogs protect sheep). You need me to post the link?
I just went out stomping across the fields with my cousins but didn’t shoot at them. We had a 12-gauge and a .22 to answer your other questions.
Still waitin’ on them pics of the ol’ homestead, Hoss.
*Awaits the response “we was so poor we didn’t have no camera, and even if we had had, there wasn’t no place in that small town what could develop them photos no how.”*

Snig: “Humor us all here and tell us what kind of loads you used and the make/model of your gun”
EPAH: “We had a 12-gauge and a .22”
I would call it a reading comp failure on your part, but I honestly don’t think you know enough to answer my question to begin with. Now it’s really starting to make sense why the term “bird dog” confused you so much and the first thing you thought of was “sheep dog”

Found it! http://www.xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=5523660&mc=81&forum_id=2#47628925
You've added to the post, but only made it more retarded, especially by adding the little anime link to illustrate what dogs do. Your belief is that wirehairs come out of the vag instinctually knowing not to kill chickens, and that the standard course for ones that do is to shoot them?
You're just fucking stupid mate, and you didn't grow up on a farm, at least not in this country. Give it a rest.

you’re an extremely damaged individual
it’s too bad you didn’t right the ship instead of passing all that trauma down to your kids

"as far as I know"
Precisely.
Pretty much guarantee I'd know the remote CO town from which grandma hailed. I know everywhere in CO.

I never said he wasn’t from the country. I’m making fun of him for being to proud to admit he was wrong, and that he doesn’t actually know the first thing about dogs or hunting, and is therefor not the expert he claims to be when judging Noem’s actions.
At this point, we’ve gotten him to admit he hasn’t actually shot a bird, his cousins poorly trained dog didn’t retrieve birds, he didn’t have a retriever growing up and knows nothing about training them, doesn’t know what a hard mouth on a dog is, and he doesn’t know basic gun facts. I even linked EPAH to the canine predatory pattern and walked through the mechanisms that make for a goood retrieving dog, but that just made him irate since it undermined him. In my own small world, I’m dunking on EPAH left and right. I know it’s esoteric and the niche is too small to include probably even a single other poaster on this bort., but it reaffirms EPAH’s hubris.
I don’t attack EPAH (or anyone else) for his kids. Never have and never will. We clearly have different ways of raising our kids and choosing a wife, but I can’t fault EPAH for trying to do his best for his kids.
