Apparently the director worked on it for 20 something years. Strong Morrowwind similarities thematically, probably going to give it another watch and take some notes

Reminded me of what Coraline could've been. Might be the jerky, insect-like movement style inimical to the genre but stop motion usually fits horror/the strange like a glove
