I barely ever touch my 6-iron and it seems way more fun to hit a wood/hybrid at the same loft

Nah, the average mid handicapper struggles to hit anything beyond 6 iron off the deck

921’s I’m not that crazy. But in all seriousness everyone assumes a “man” with an 11 wood likes wood up his ass

That's a bitchboi move. I would keep 6 iron and probably 5 iron unless you really, really struggle to hit it. This still lets you go something like Dr-4W-7W-4h-5i-etc, which should give you flexibility at the top of your bag (7W higher launch, 4h great punch out club and easier to launch lower into the wind, 5i should be more accurate, and is pretty easy to hit off the tee on longish par 3s, even if you struggle with it off the deck)

You're probably right. DJ had 7FW and 9FW in his bag last year but looks like he ended that experiment

i cant imagine doing this as long iron off the tee is something i like to go with under certain circumstances. usually 4 these days where it used to be 3 and before that 2 but it would be weird not to have that option.

seriously though this is some old man shit. my dad is 70 and hits the 6 iron(and 5 even) in his bag just fine. you should only consider this if your swing is so slow that 6 flies about the same distance as your 7
