Granted, I've never considered myself super attractive, but at least when I was younger, strangers seemed more willing to strike up conversations or I just felt noticed.
Bartenders don't care how long I've been waiting for a drink (mostly men, but sometimes Gen Zish women) and I'm typically ignored more.
Mostly noticed it in the service arena (restaurants/clubs/bars) but also have been experiencing a general disinterested vibe from sales people and cashiers.
I definitely don't miss gross bros with the sexual harassment and catcalls!
But yeah, it sucks to feel disregarded. |
