Some proles think it’s “bad” to turn a car off and on, and if you leave it running it keeps the engine warm or whatnot. There could be some truth to this since proles often drive older cars with dodgy starters, alternators, etc. Either that or the boss pays for the gas on the work van so they dgaf and keep it running.
