fire started and they diverted to penang but then they eeither went unconscious or fire knocked out comms
when u have fire first thing is to navigate, not contact ground control immediately (full disclosure: i use to be a B-2 stealth bomber pilot)
they wld only have minutes at high altitude to deal with shit, fire had already been burning for a bit before they got warnings then they had to divert and reduce alltitude while under oxygen
bad shit cld have happened and dat was dat |

There's no explanation for the 1. Lack of comms AND 2. why they were heading for Chocobar Islands. Makes zero sense. They would have say Mayday Mayday and told someone where they were going. "But the fire knocked out the comms!" Impossible but ok. So their plan was to turn back to a major city where the pilot was from and NOT land there?????????

prob the last thing they did was divert towards penang then they died or lost consciousness and plane continued flying cause it was on auto pilot

He charted, then deleted, a course nearly identical to that which was followed by MH370–investigators were subsequently able to restore the file. This course also relied on switching off the plane’s transponder in a handoff zone between multiple countries’ airspace, where the third world air traffic controllers would initially assume anything anomalous was being handled by their counterparts. Lithium batteries are probably not something I’d want to be flying around with, but a catastrophic explosion would have produced a disaster too quickly to allow for the needle threading course which was actually followed.
The pilot was suicidal and took out +200 passengers, the subsequent government investigation was happy not to publicly reach this conclusion. |
