To be fair,
Notwithstanding the actual retards on XO who still think that the Dems are playing 9873-D Chess and have some grand masterplan that they will be springing in a few weeks, here's the real actual truth: This is the level of delusion that is currently gripping the insanely out-of-touch Democrat donor class --

People who are retarded enough to *truly* believe something like that are walking into a political buzzsaw, not masterminding grand schemes.
HTFH.

The point is that the election is fucked, Biden was going to lose, they needed a hail mary play.
You can go two ways with this:
1.) They think they can cheat better with Kamala.
2.) They hate Kamala and know they can't win this election with anyone. Instead of burning an up and comer, you can put Kamala's political career in a grave to prevent her from causing trouble in 2028. Also no one likes Kamala and no one wants to risk the chance that she rules for the next 8 years so she'll be set up to lose.
So either they're still trying to win through cheating and it doesn't matter who's running, or they're taking a calculated punt through the controlled demolition of Kamala Harris.

This is completely anecdotal and restricted to one city. But here it is. Hometown is Baltimore so I keep an eye on local politics out of curiosity. Mayor's primaries this year, which serves as the default elections given that it's a 90% blue city. Existing first term incumbent is a weak pol with no natural base but makes the right progressive squeaks re rainbow flags and bike lanes. But otherwise has been a loser mayor. Challenger is an old school pol who was mayor a decade ago before forced to resign over some kind of minor grift/petty theft, but who'd been an excellent mayor otherwise. Her natural base is working class blacks. And she'd very narrowly lost to the incumbent four years ago.
Going into the primaries there were no real polls, the white progressives hated the old mayor for being a thief.
Actual outcome: the incumbent won because of the white progressives. But turnout dropped by 40% because the working class black voters didn't turn out. That's huge. Why didn't the black voters turn out?
Makes you wonder about this fall. Is the black working class distinctly unenthusiastic about politics?

biden was nearly certain to lose and there was no chance for him to rehabilitate his image.
kamala is technically a question mark. it's *conceivable*, especially if you are an out of touch lib, that she will improve. she also will probably perform *better* in terms of voter turnout, which translates to more down ballot wins.
they would have been better served picking a more electable candidate. but why would you expect the libs to act strategically? they nominate unqualified DEI losers all the time.

Dude she got 3% of the vote in the 2020 primaries
Everyone knows she’s super unlikeable and it’s not fixable
Indeed, dementia joe probably chose her as vp on this basis — he had dementia in 2020 and he wouldn’t want to deal with calls for him to resign

it doesn't matter. this isn't kamala versus trump. it's trump: yes or no.
no lib wants trump but when the alternative is a dementia patient they might not go out to vote. more people might go out to vote for kamala since she has a working brain (technically) and is a black woman.
regardless, even if you disagree with this, that is what *THEY* think. your problem is that you assume that these people think like you. they don't. they actually believe their bullshit.

- Provides some renewed energy to drive base turnout and mitigate down ballot issues
- Frees up the cash influx from donors who were witholding
- Doesn't burn any 28 hopeful in what will probably be a losing fihght
- Also her actual job was to be president if Joe went down it was always obvious it must be her

To be fair,
Covid was, in retrospect, an insanely retarded move for (((them))) to pull. Sure, it got Trump out of the WH, and I know it's very fashionable for your ilk to now pretend that it was a huge win and a complete triumph and an incredible global show of force that basically came at no cost to (((them))) -- hell, they actually made a killing on it! -- but public polling re general trust in institutions, "experts," etc. suggests that there was a very real cost that has flowed from it, and IMO only bad faith retards (mostly fart-sniffing kikes) actually dispute that fact in 2024. Just because the total bill hasn't come due yet from those knock-on effects doesn't mean there won't be big and painful payments that will need to be made down the line.
The really interesting question is how much that dramatic and lasting erosion of public trust will play out and impact things as we move down the line. Again, it's also very fashionable among your ilk to dismiss that question with the wave of a hand and just smugly make blanket assetions like "NPCs never learn and the masses don't matter etc etc," but then again Jews aren't exactly known for managing downside risk and effectively preventing serious blowback on the long timescale, and you personally are also the same genius who still won't just admit he's Jewish on XO despite the fact that we all remember you whining about it for years on this bort.
Guess we'll see what unfolds!
