We need to replace this carcass with something more appropriate for the white winter that lies ahead. I'm no artist, so I'm asking anyone who feels they have a knack for it to design a logo that will last for longer than the next week and post it on this thread. It can still be themed, if you like, and if any particular logo stands out, we can use it. Remember, it needs to be something that we don't have to be ashamed of showing the world as we move to take back all that has been lost. It's a big, prestigious bird that sort of represents the weirdness inherent in the forum, and a mascot would be a good rallying force for XOXOers' You want regular good posters and a more mainstream image - a beloved icon like Megathor would help achieve that goal.
But if that's going to cause the couple of killjoys who hate every stupid meme on XOXO to endlessly bitch, then somebody should just design a cool looking crest that incorporates a few classic memes. This would fit with XOXO's nerdy/prestige-obsessed roots and play up the image. There could also be room for Megathor to be incorporated into or peacefully coexist with the crest. |
