Date: July 24th, 2026 4:54 PM Author: talented hall 10-15 yrs ago, but non-muzzie tourists have always been allowed to go on the temple mount during certain limited visiting hours and that's still the policy. there's a separate entrance for muzzies and non-muzzie tourists. the tourist entrance is closed if there are wars going on, or shit like fridays during prayer times. but plenty of birdshit tourists go up on the temple mount no problem.

the muzzie entrance is from the muslim quarter
that sucks u didnt maek it. it's amazing up there to see the scale of it. i didnt realize how huge the temple mount is. you'd think it's small because what we know as the western wall is basically the length of a football field. i knew that was a small chunk of what it was, but it's hard to picture until you're up there.
plus knowing all the history that's up there. surreal. |

I went to the Western Wall, too, ofc, and had no idea that there was an entrance available to the Temple Mount from there. (As an aside, LJL at the comparatively tiny women's area in the pic.)
The archway I went up to was right outside the Dome of the Rock, so I got to see that fairly up close. Would have been cool to explore more. Cool that you got to. |
