The State of Game Prices is fucking weird btw and it’s all because of millennials. Like nobody cares about NES games. It’s all about Shitcube and 90s stuff. Gen X can’t afford to bid up NES games imo. |

People want to see a fully decked out basement with shelves full of cartridges I guess. People who actually play these retro games are those speedrunners who stream in front of stark white drywall and probably have a ROM emulator or something.

Btw there are tons of new production pirated “fakes” out there and they’re kind of hard to spot.
Anyway I think Losers think hardware/software are just magic. There is no nostalgia behind a Cartridge with a ROM in it. The Instruction Manual Smell has more nostalgia than a Cartridge. There is actually something to be said for the hum of a lagless CRT and OEM controllers.
