Isn't his big thesis the "network state"? The idea that you can just live anywhere and operate as part of a network of nodes (people) that lives across the world but whose work isn't tied to their locale?
LMAO did he go to a foreign country and then say "you can't tell me what to do. I'm part of the Network State!" And then they presumably (and justifiably) pushed his shit in?
What's amusing about this is that a subset of the super elites already basically live this way. They just don't write a fucking book about it and understand that they are still under the jurisdiction of various nations' laws. People that work for MegaCorp Multinationals at the senior level effectively do live in a Network State because at some point their wealth and income is so high that they can simply move from one Elite Enclave to another without needing to deal with the downsides of the countries within which these Elite Enclaves are housed.
This guy thinks "hey I'll do that...but I'll also try and upend the financial system" and then gets butthurt when there is pushback. What a clown.

to be fair, late 2010s vcSLOP used to be VERY enamored with him. he was a Big Deal. from his wiki page:
Economist Tyler Cowen interviewed Srinivasan for his Conversations with Tyler podcast, noting that Andressen had described Srinivasan as "the man who has more good ideas per minute than anyone else in the Bay Area."[137]
but these days everyone pretends he doesn't exist because it's clear he's just pushing nonsense that they all liked because it appealed to their libertarian lizard brains
