Are you stupid? Every major company is a government contractor, so the POTUS is 100% involved in these policies. The US government is also a major employer. So check out this example of Trump retardedly doing exactly the opposite: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/return-to-in-person-work/

read what i said
then look at your dumbass response and the date of the policy you refer to
which is only for government agencies a completely different thing than what you said
that policy is sound, btw. work from home is fraud from home. government employees make enough money to pay higher gas prices for a little while. hell, for a long while.

Holy shit, do I really need to spell this out for you? If government employees and contractors WFH and the government tells businesses they should encourage WFH (many will listen) then demand for oil will drop along with prices. That means that the people that actually need to drive (like doctors, construction workers, etc.) will pay less.

apparently 20% of world oil flows through hormuz, but it disproportionately affects australia, southeast asia, africa and europe. some guys who live in australia are freaking the fuck out
U.S. is a net oil exporter so will be affected less
the real problem is going to be the hit to worldwide agriculture production if this continues
