Was out till like 11:30 and left balcony window open and came back and there was a huge dove pigeon thing chilling on the floor in my room
Birds in the house is supposed to be a bad omen and birds are basically demons but birds shitting on you or something of yours is a good money omen so I don’t know how to take this - omens are also idolatry
I took the bird outside and he just chilled out there for a couple hours even tried to fly back into the glass door a few times to come back in but I got him to fly off healthily
Also, I switched out mezuzahs during the day and had it off the door while the bird snuck in which is kindve weird

A mezuzah (Hebrew: מְזוּזָה 'doorpost'; plural: מְזוּזוֹת mezuzot) is a piece of parchment inscribed with specific Hebrew verses from the Torah, which Jews affix in a small case to the doorposts of their homes.[1] These verses are the Biblical passages in which the use of a mezuzah is commanded (Deuteronomy 6:4–9 and 11:13–21); they also form part of the Shema prayer.

wow. let me tell you how bad you fucked up from an eastern point of view.
birds are auspicious messengers. doves represent stability and tranquility. your desk in your home represents work, finance and authority. shitting on your desk is actually considered extremely lucky considering the odds of what it could have shat on. the bird choosing to stay in your home means what the bird was bringing was not just passing through your life but trying to anchor something in your life. the bird trying to return reinforces that it was trying to anchor something in your life.
the bird was bringing new beginnings at work or new found wealth to you.
