They should probably just jack up their prices until demand levels out, but the services they offer are so necessary and demand likely so inflexible that they'd have to gouge the shit out you before it made a dent in demand, and then every customer would (rightly) be a whiny little bitch who's a pain in the ass to deal with.

I've been trying to get a water softener replaced, a tankles water heater installed, and some drywall repaired, and dudes are just clearly blowing me off. I had to fucking beg to get some dudes to take my $27K for a new HVAC system last year.

But it's really clear to me that if you took the intellect and business acumen it takes to be a low-six-figure lawyer and applied it to a trade, you could make way more money.
