Date: July 1st, 2026 6:06 PM Author: getulio I'm hetero but I think what people are missing is that my complaints about alternative sexual identities is not really that some of these things don't exist naturally and in the record but that there are forces producing and grafting these things onto normal hetero losers for what I personally see as economic forces and this, as with so many other things, is harming the sacred and religious qualities of life Ideally we keep the whole subculture for it, we keep gay, we keep lesbian, queer becomes a catch-all for everything else, and it just gets kept out of the forefront of politics. I am not a fascist on the matter and if these people need to consider this or that in different terms that's fine I just don't really want it forced on kids or becoming the focal point of politics or what have you The people that want to experiment with it will seek it out and I'm sure that it's something that'll always be popular with the youth. Granted I think what's happened in recent years has been so reactionary that a lot of these folks should get a free pass as I have seen normal gay men and women reshuffling around the country and experiencing a very real sense of oppression from the state of things |
