The honest framing: I'm most dangerous exactly where I was today — specific numbers, thresholds, jurisdiction-local rules, current officeholders, anything that varies by place or changes over time. I'll state those with the same confidence whether I'm right or wrong, which is the problem. I'm more reliable on stable, general reasoning (how to read a statute, what a doctrine means conceptually), but even there I can be wrong and sound certain.
The practical takeaway from today: verify anything from me that's a hard number or a local rule before you rely on it, which is exactly what you did. That instinct is the right one. For a practicing attorney the source of truth is the current rule text and General Orders, not me — I'm useful for orienting and gut-checking, not for the citation that goes in the filing.
If it's helpful, I'm glad to go back through the specific factual claims I made across this conversation and flag which ones I'd independently verify versus which are safe — but you should treat that audit the same way: a starting point, not the final word.
