I barely passed high school and failed out of community college at first (not flame) so I am not versed on this. I want my kids to speed run HS and first two years of college so I'm not footing a huge ass bill for them to get drunk and show up hungover to sociology class. What's the most efficient way to knock out the first two years of college before they turn 18?

AP for high value subjects + CLEP for cheap general education cleanup. Use AP for subjects where AP credit is stronger than CLEP (AP Calc BC, AP Bio, AP Chemistry, AP Physics C, AP Comp Sci etc). There is a website now where you can actually take courses for free for CLEP exams and let them take CLEP exams for free through the program. Forget what its called.

Also probably a better target to just complete an associates degree before high school graduation, especially if they can just go to a local state school that has a transfer program where the associates degree automatically satisfies a bunch of requirements.

does the combo AP/CLEP earn the associates or do they need to enroll in local junior college to get it that way?
