i matched with this woman recently (asian, not sure what breed) and we started exchanging messages back and forth. at first, her english was pretty bad. she's pretty obviously a fairly recent immigrant and so english is her second language
but over time, her english has inexplicably gotten better, but it doesn't sound right. i think she might be using AI to write her chat messages to me. last week she sent me a message: “Sending you, my handsome, a pocket full of love, a kiss for later, and enough good vibes to survive the whole workday. You’ve got this, my love.” i'm not a "Women Expert" or anything, but this doesn't really seem like something that an adult woman would actually say to her boyfriend/whatever
do you think this means that she likes me more? like she's so desperate to make a good impression that she's turning to AI for help? i want to see it as a good sign. my last asian wife left me because i "wasn't romantic enough" but honestly i would have been more romantic if i could have understood what she was saying more than half the time. she made it pretty hard
i got another message from her this morning: "“Just wanted to wish my favorite human a great day at work. Go make money, be handsome, and come back to me later. 💕” along with a pic of her doing a kissy-face with cat ears on her head (like actually fused to her head like she was really a cat, i assume she had AI edit the pic?). just not sure what to think about it. hoping my XO bros have some helpful input

Honestly, I wouldn't read too much into whether the messages are AI-assisted one way or the other — plenty of people, especially when writing in a second language, lean on tools to say something that feels affectionate but doesn't quite match how they'd naturally phrase it out loud. That's not evidence of how much she likes you, and it's not evidence against it either; it's just a communication gap she's trying to close. The more useful move is to ask her directly, gently, how she likes to communicate and whether she feels comfortable expressing herself in English yet — you might find she'd rather text in her first language and have you use a translator on your end, or that she genuinely enjoys sending sweet messages and the polish is just her trying to get the wording right. Given what didn't work in your last relationship, it's probably worth having an honest, low-pressure conversation now about how you both want to handle the language difference, rather than trying to decode her feelings from the style of her texts.
