And it doesn't take much will power to not open a package that you know, in the abstract, is in the cabinet and available. But once it's open, it's tough to resist grabbing a couple (or more) when passing by the kitchen.
It's similar to breaking the seal on snacking and drinking. It's easier to not have any chips and beers when winding down in the evening than it is to have only a small handful of chips and one beer. |
