I think you had to pass them in order to graduate high school. You can imagine that they wouldn't be all that difficult if you had an average (or even slightly below average) IQ. Obviously certain groups aren't passing at a high enough rate, so they're eliminating them in favor of a "holistic" approach to assessing whether or not a student is fit to graduate. LMAO.
