They’re not entirely wrong. America, and the western world, have homogenized. Berlin, Paris, New York, and LA are functionally indistinguishable if you remove everything built over 100 years ago. The same glass architecture. The same deracinated masses, occupying the same classes and castes and jobs everywhere you turn. The same music blasting from storefronts selling the same products. Regional accents in the USA are a thing of the past, and local languages in Europe are quickly being replaced with English. The Redditors aren’t wrong, but they aren’t willing to discuss the full topic.
