In order to get to 1 C° of global temperature rise you have to start counting back in Napoleonic times, which was literally during a mini ice age. So it's completely disconnected from fossil fuels or greenhouse gasses and their preferred chart linking these in the 1900s is easily falsifiable. Climate change as a widespread theory began in the early 90s when alarmism first took hold. If it were true then why wouldn't people have noticed it alongside bigger innovations like the automobile or something.
Also the worst decade for severe weather was in the 1930s. If everything is getting worse why haven't we seen a rise in catastrophes. Every year the arctic ice melts in the summer and freezes again in the winter. Shouldn't we be seeing long term erosion? But we don't. There aren't more hurricanes either. Summers aren't actually any hotter than they were. The sea level hasn't actually gone up. Nothing climate change predicted has happened even a little bit. So yes by technical definition is the Earth 1-1.5 degrees warmer on average than it was during the Battle of Austerlitz? I guess, sure, if you want to start counting there or something. It's also substantially cooler than it was millions of years ago. But there's no link between fossil fuels and global warming, there's no evidence of rapid or unusual change, there's no more or less weather disasters than there were before. So I can't see anywhere why someone with a chart about the earth heating up very slightly in 220 years would be smug about this anthropogenic climate disaster. Literally none of the predictions made by the world's leading climate alarmists have ever come true or come close to coming true. |

1.) To get people (mostly in Europe) mentally onboard with lower living standards because they do not have enough energy to keep per capita standards growing (or anywhere near the standards of the average American);
2.) To keep the debt bubble going.
Reason 2 is getting tossed by the wayside because AI now serves this role (and just so happens to require tons of energy oops hehe anyways gotta go!) |
