Gen Z seems smarter and more intellectually curious than Millennia imo

*Millennials
I like to watch them "react" to 90s tv shows like X Files and I'm often surprised at how astute and articulate and capable of identifying themes and subtext they are. ages 21-26 mostly.
I can't remember much from back then, but I think I was retarded in comparison. certainly they are 40-50,000k times smarter than boomers.

the more astute ones can get direct, free, high-quality commentary and instruction from older and more knowledgeable people. you're not locked down or confined to an indifferent local grad student or whoever else would be checking your work in the past. you can go directly to better sources.
