Consuela: your take on the Flock backlash? Seems a little astroturfed, no?

yes, its astroturfed. the digital panopticon is wayyyyyyy larger than whether there are cameras on the next corner or not. i don't like flock cameras, but taking them all down wouldn't come close to solving the tech surveillance state issue
but they won't even be taken down, and their failure to be taken down will result in despair over those passionate about the issue

yes, but the opposition has been puppet-mastered for a really long time, it's not a new thing. all the well known cold war intellectuals were controlled, for example. what is new is that we are aware of it more and that real marginal dissidents who used to peak through the cracks (say, revilo p. oliver, or the successor to the john birch society head who got blown out of the sky, or guys like eustice mullins/ezra pound) don't seem to exist much these days.
my take on TBF is that he realized the white nationalist idea isn't going to work out and it broke his brain (because he is - barely - one dimensional). he kind of admitted as much, but i miss his rants too
i don't know what will happen. i like silver and gold, but my historic investment impulses have been lousy. but yeah, if there's a hardcore digital panopticon and you're cancelled and living in a hut out in the boonies, you'll probably either be bartering or using hard metal if not starving to death
