Date: September 22nd, 2026 12:18 AM Author: evan39 We have this annual picnic that I have been dreading, but my boss made it clear that all supervisors would be expected to attend. I knew it would just be shrews, beta husbands, and their ugly kids, but I still dragged myself out of bed and drove over. I got there on time but didn't see anyone I recognized and awkwardly got a plate of food that I nearly spilled all over myself. Being an antisocial weirdo, I immediately sensed that many of the others were turning away from me and even shielding their kids, which is something I've seen before. The small talk was excruciating ("Can you believe the traffic?") and I was basically sitting alone at one point. I noticed some cute Chads but they were all married and certainly weren't interested in me. The fat bitch who organized the picnic got on a loudspeaker and announced that we'd be playing charades and serving ice cream, and that was my cue to leave.
