Date: July 4th, 2026 8:29 AM Author: MISO HORNY I think maybe there's just less interest in politics in general because I think maybe more of the GOP and Democratic voter base is starting to realize that the politicians really are not going to do what they promised to do.. in some cases they can't but I think in most cases they just don't want to because they realize it will cost them money in the long run.. politicians are just out to make a fortune and being populist is not going to get you a fortune.. promising to be populist while campaigning will get you into office, and I think more and more voters are starting to realize that's what's going on.. so we're seeing two of the most popular political bloggers, sailer and silver, turning to sports (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5879584&forum_id=2/en-en#49978381) |

e.g. he's criticized Russia for the Ukraine war although the US started it by pushing Nato to Russia's borders and then replacing Yanukovich with a pro-NATO puppet
i think he's written about foreign policy less since Covid because a) it's hard to say something smart and original about Ukraine, Iran and Israel and b) half his readers can't stomach his naive base assumption that US foreign policy is sometimes aimed at promoting US interests |
