Anyway the trick is to turn "shadow control" to level 40 instead of the default 50. That that point it's basically an OLED but without the rainbow fringes around text, and without the risk of burn in, and for 1/3 the price of a decent OLED (any OLED that's selling for <$900 is SPS). It's 180 if you need to use MS Word or Acrobat. That's why I got it and it's why my 34" OLED is sitting in the closet
