I'd like my feed to consist of the people I follow so I can curate a nice mix of new, humor, hobbies, etc. But now I just get blasted with the Current Thing or whatever I clicked on recently.
I think an X, Reddit, Instagram or whatever the behaved like 2010 would do very well. During a Labor Day party the topic of clicking on something and ruining your whole experience came up, and even the boomers expressed exasperation. No one asked for this. It's about monetization and maximizing engagement at the expense of the user experience. |
