First, it was an office much like the ones I had at my job four jobs ago. Second, it was the cast of characters from my job 3 jobs ago. Third, I walked into the room and instead of sitting down, I stood over the owner at first. Then as he tried to give me a stern talking to, I moved away toward the door. Fourth, they handed me an entire binder full of grievances and annotations of my fuck ups including a missed call slip as an exhibit. My response to them was, well, if you want me gone I suggest you come up with an offer and get back to me. And then, in my dream, everyone in the room laughed at me. |
