Yes. You mean the infamous early-2010s “Sup Brady!” HBS email that became a running meme across Wall Street Oasis and AutoAdmit/XOXOHTH.
It starts along the lines of “Sup Brady! It’s great hearing from you. Hope chi-town is treating you well,” then launches into an absurdly enthusiastic account of starting Harvard Business School: nonstop parties, meeting women “left and right,” the power of the “H-bomb,” and HBS guys having “MAD SWAGGER.”
The joke on AutoAdmit was that the poster associated with “Brady4MVP”/JJC was allegedly so fixated on HBS prestige that people suspected the supposedly forwarded email from his “HBS ’14 buddy” was actually written by him to himself. An old AutoAdmit thread is literally titled “JJC writes letter to himself on virtues of HBS.”
So yes—I know the lore, including the “H-bomb,” “hooking up like rabbits,” “ooze success/confidence/swagger,” etc. If you want, I can also reconstruct the whole Sup Brady saga and explain why each line became XO canon.
--
yeah i remember earlier ai didn't get it and tried saying it was a satire of frat/bro culture or something like that when in reality it is not "meant to exaggerate and satirize “alpha-bro / fratty MBA” stereotypes" but rather an earnest expression of a human being's deepest fantasies -- and one in which, even in those fantasies, the creator dare not imagine himself as the HBS student
--
Yes—that distinction matters a lot.
Reading it as “satire of bro-y MBA culture” flattens what makes the email so strange and memorable. The comic effect comes precisely from the possibility that it is not ironic at all: it reads like an intensely sincere projection of status, sexual abundance, belonging, prestige, and social ease.
And the detail you point to is probably the most revealing one: even within the fantasy, the imagined self is not the HBS student. The fantasy is displaced onto a more prestigious friend who has supposedly attained the promised land and reports back. That makes it less like ordinary boasting and more like a kind of aspirational ventriloquism—“here is what life must be like for the kind of person I wish I could become.”
So the “Sup Brady” voice has this almost poignant structure: the writer can imagine unlimited swagger, women, elite affiliation, and social validation, but cannot quite imaginatively cross the final boundary and simply say, “I am that guy.” The prestige object remains external and therefore worshippable.
That is much darker—and much funnier—than a parody written by someone standing outside the culture and mocking it.

Trump Restored American Safety and Sovereignty
1. He made the border a real border again.
In a matter of months, Trump reduced illegal border crossings to their lowest level in half a century. Catch-and-release is finished. The wall is going up and even being expanded, “Remain in Mexico” is back, and the Administration reduced releases into the country by an incredible 99.9 percent.
2. He reversed mass migration.
America recorded negative net migration in 2025 for the first time in at least half a century. So far, nearly 3 million illegal aliens have left the country, whether voluntarily or involuntarily: more than 675,000 forcibly deported and the rest “self-deported.”
Many of those self-deportations were facilitated by the President’s innovative program to offer plane tickets and cash bonuses for illegals to leave, not only incentivizing good behavior but significantly reducing the cost of deportations. Citizenship and the law actually mean something again.
3. He signed the Laken Riley Act — and required detention of criminal illegal aliens.
Named for an innocent girl murdered by an illegal alien, the Laken Riley Act requires federal authorities to detain illegals arrested for theft, burglary, shoplifting, assaulting police, or any crime causing death or serious injury. It also lets states sue officials who refuse to enforce it.
Laken Riley should still be alive. This law will prevent tragedies like hers.
4. History’s biggest drop in violent crime, and the lowest violent crime rate in 126 years.
According to FBI data, violent crime in America dropped an incredible 9.7 percent in 2025 — the largest one-year decline in history. Murder fell 18.1 percent, robbery fell 18.5 percent. And America’s violent crime rate is its lowest since 1900.
This is what happens when you put the National Guard on the streets in crime-ridden blue cities: fewer victims, safer streets, and better futures for America’s poorest.
Trump Launched an American Industrial Supercycle
5. He made the 2017 tax cuts permanent…and better.
The One Big Beautiful Bill locked in the largest tax cut in modern history, including the doubled standard deduction, the expanded Child Tax Credit, and 100 percent expensing for factories and equipment. It also delivered No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, an abolition of most taxes on Social Security benefits, and major relief for seniors.
Every Democrat voted no. With the 2017 act set to expire in December 2025, that would have resulted in the largest tax hike in American history.
6. He repealed 129 regulations for every new one.
In fiscal 2025, federal agencies finalized 646 deregulatory actions and just five regulatory actions: 129-to-1, and in nearly every case, the “one” was to repeal the others! OIRA says the savings exceeded those of Trump’s entire first term. That is more freedom, lower costs, and less bureaucratic sabotage.
Of these, the crown jewel was the repeal of Obama’s 2009 “Endangerment Finding”, the legal foundation for the Green New Scam’s vehicle mandates. EPA calls it the largest deregulatory action in American history and estimates that by itself, it will save Americans more than $1.3 trillion. Trump also killed the federal EV mandate, restored Americans’ freedom to buy the cars and trucks they actually want, and even eliminated the incentives behind the almost universally hated start-stop button.
7. He secured $18 trillion in announced investment commitments.
That’s nearly two-thirds the size of the entire American economy, building American factories, chip plants, data centers, energy projects, steel mills, shipyards, and supply chains employing American workers. Apple, Meta, NVIDIA, Micron, Hyundai, U.S. Steel, Ford, Taiwan Semiconductor, and many corporations and sovereign wealth funds are betting big on Trump’s America.
No President has ever done anything remotely like it. And it’s just getting started.
8. He made “reshoring” and “reindustrialization” real, not a slogan.
Ford is moving Lincoln production out of China. Toyota is shifting Tacoma production from Mexico to Texas. GM, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and others are expanding U.S. production. The capital equipment pouring into the country is the machinery that’s building the growing boom.
9. He replaced lopsided trade deals with balanced, reciprocal trade.
Trump used tariffs as leverage to reverse 80 years of lopsided trade deals that favored everyone but America, and to win new or improved agreements with trading partners accounting for more than half of global GDP. Those agreements open foreign markets, attack non-tariff barriers, defend strategic industries, and make it more profitable to build in America than to export American jobs.
10. He shifted global energy dominance from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of America.
Once the world’s largest energy importer — “exporting” $700 billion a year to our enemies — America now outproduces Saudi Arabia and Russia combined. The U.S. is also setting new records in oil, natural gas, and LNG exports, becoming the first country ever to export more than 100 million metric tons of LNG in a year.
Trump also opened land, accelerated permits, expanded pipelines and export terminals, and made American energy a tool for prosperity and peace.
11. After four decades of nuclear paralysis, Trump brought five new reactors online in a single year.
For more than 40 years, not one new privately developed non-light-water reactor reached criticality in America. Trump ordered at least three by July 4, 2026. DOE delivered four by the deadline, then a fifth just one month later.
Decades of zero. One Trump summer: five. That is a genuine nuclear renaissance.
Trump Made Elections Matter Again
12. He broke the Deep State’s power to defy the elected branches.
In Trump v. Slaughter, the Supreme Court ruled for the first time in 90 years that Article 2, Section 1 is still part of the Constitution: the President may fire subordinate officials in the executive branch, overturning the 1935 precedent that insulated “independent” agencies from voters’ control.
Ever wonder why elections often seem to change nothing? How about one President and 5,000 political appointees vs. 2.8 million unfireable, unaccountable bureaucrats? THAT is the “Deep State”.
Trump then made that victory real. For the first time in a century, all policy-making bureaucrats can now be fired for misconduct, incompetence, or defying lawful directives. The permanent bureaucracy no longer gets to veto the voters.
13. He ended nationwide injunction abuse.
In Trump v. CASA, the Supreme Court sharply limited nationwide injunctions. A single, local, district judge should not be able to block a national policy for everyone, everywhere; and yet that’s exactly what they’ve done, nonstop, ever since Trump (and only Trump) took office in 2017.
In restricting that unconstitutional power, the Court kneecapped the Black Robe Bureaucracy’s favorite tool of unlawful judicial supremacy.
14. He shut down USAID as a left-wing slush fund and shadow government.
USAID had become a taxpayer-funded machine for exporting abortion, gender ideology, censorship, and left-wing politics. It had a bigger budget than the CIA and the State Department combined, absolutely no accountability whatsoever, and a penchant for overthrowing governments.
Trump terminated it — completely — and moved real humanitarian aid under the State Department. Immediately, seven socialist Latin American governments lost re-election. Coincidence?
15. He shrank Federal employment to its lowest level in 60 years.
From a high under Biden, the federal workforce is now its smallest since 1966. Workforce reductions, agency closures, and spending cancellations mean fewer bureaucrats paid to resist the voters.
What’s more, when Biden left office, 94 percent of federal employees “worked” from home. The Trump administration cracked down: as Elon Musk put it, “you can work from the office or you can pretend to work somewhere else.”
16. He expelled DEI from the federal government.
Trump eliminated federal DEI offices and barred race- and sex-based preferences across the executive branch. Government hiring and contracting are returning to merit and equality under the law, ending the grotesque Democrat idea that “fighting discrimination” requires the federal government to discriminate.
He Defended Faith and Family
17. He delivered sweeping pro-life reform.
In his first term, Trump delivered the judges that overturned the abominable Roe v. Wade. Hardly anyone believed it could be done, or that Trump would do it. But he did, and a half-century nightmare finally ended.
Since returning to office, Trump has enforced the Hyde Amendment prohibiting the use of federal funds to pay for abortions, reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy prohibiting federal funding of foreign abortions, ended federal fetal-tissue research, strengthened conscience protections, protected Medicaid from funding large abortion providers, and pardoned 23 pro-life activists prosecuted by Biden’s weaponized Justice Department.
He’s also done everything within the Executive Branch’s power to defund Planned Parenthood. It would be nice if Congress did likewise.
No President has ever done more to protect life. No one.
18. He got men out of women’s sports, and restored biological reality to federal policy.
The United States government once again officially recognizes two sexes: male and female. Trump ended federal support for the chemical and surgical gender mutilation of children, stopped taxpayer funding of such irreversible abominations, and forced more than three dozen health systems to end or suspend their programs as well.
Trump also enforced Title IX as written: women and girls deserve their own teams, trophies, scholarships, and locker rooms. The NCAA and other athletic organizations changed their rules in response. After years of Democrats doing everything they could to destroy women’s sports and ruin girls’ lives, Trump’s administration protects women and girls again.
19. He enacted America’s first nationwide school-choice program — and launched Trump Accounts.
As part of the President’s One Big Beautiful Bill, Trump enacted America’s first-ever nationwide school choice program. The new Education Freedom Tax Credit helps fund scholarships for tuition, books, and other educational costs.
That’s on top of the new Trump Accounts, which give every child a tax-advantaged stake in America’s future, including a $1,000 federal seed for eligible newborns. Parents gain power. Bureaucracies lose it. And children learn first-hand about free markets and future orientation.
20. He targeted anti-Christian bias and discrimination.
Trump created the White House Faith Office, Religious Liberty Commission, and Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias. He restored conscience protections and made clear that Christians do not surrender their First Amendment rights merely by entering public life.
He Restored Peace Through Strength and Put America First
21. He forced NATO to stop freeloading and increase defense spending by 250 percent.
For decades, wealthy European governments underfunded their militaries, effectively sending America the bill and using American taxpayers to subsidize their bloated welfare states. Trump forced NATO to replace its old two-percent-of-GDP spending target with an enormous five percent by 2035.
Allied spending is rising, American defense orders are soaring, and Europe is becoming a partner instead of a dependent.
22. He drove China out of the Caribbean.
China spent years building strategic beachheads at both ends of the Panama Canal, in Cuba, and in Maduro’s Venezuela. Trump forced Panama out of Belt and Road, expanded American security access around the Canal, and captured Maduro, who now sits in a New York jail cell awaiting trial.
Beijing’s planned encirclement of the United States collapsed. The Monroe Doctrine is back. Call it the Donroe Doctrine.
23. He brokered eight peace deals in just eight months.
In eight months, Trump brokered peace in eight conflicts spanning four continents, including wars that had gone on for as much as 40 years. It’s a record unmatched by any other President.
24. He launched and funded Golden Dome, the first-ever true missile defense for the U.S. population.
Ronald Reagan dreamed of making nuclear missiles obsolete through his Strategic Defense Initiative. Today, Trump is actually building it: a layered homeland shield with space-based sensors and interceptors, conventional defenses, and new technologies including microwave systems to destroy drone swarms and directed-energy weapons (yes, lasers) that can replace an $11 million missile with $2 of electricity.
Congress has funded the initial $25 billion, with far more on the way once it passes the NDAA this fall. Better a shield than a sword.
25. He restored the warrior ethos — and reversed the recruiting crisis.
After years of missed targets under Biden, every active military component met or exceeded its 2025 recruiting goal. Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth refocused the newly renamed Department of War on actually winning wars, while pouring resources into shipbuilding, munitions, drones, missile defense, and America’s atrophied industrial base.

There's another old Brady post that is almost comically explicit about the longing. Describing HBS, he says he's applying the following year and would “lose my mind if I got in,” calling it “truly a life altering experience.”
That is why your earlier observation about the displaced narrator is so good. If “Sup Brady” really was JJC writing his supposed HBS buddy's email—as the legend has it, though that attribution is forum lore rather than something I can independently prove—the fantasy contains this extraordinary limitation:
He can imagine a world in which HBS turns an awkward guy into an alpha male whom women suddenly want. But he still can't write “I got into HBS.”
He has to invent another man who got in.
And then that imaginary man reports back to Brady from paradise.
That's much sadder and more psychologically interesting than “lol MBA bros.” The fantasy isn't fundamentally about partying. It's about external validation repairing the self. The parties, girls, exotic trips, jackets, PE/VC shirts and “swagger” are all visible evidence that the transformation has occurred.
There's even a striking AutoAdmit comment from years later responding to one of these stories: “No JJC was saying his friend said this. Even he is not involved in his fantasy’s [sic].”
That poster basically noticed the same bizarre feature you did.

Yes — I know the exact one you mean.
It’s the alleged JJC/HBS-friend Cabo story beginning:
“Quick funny rage story that you guys will appreciate...”
They’re at Squid Roe in Cabo, parenthetically described as a “shitshow rage bar,” after supposedly “raging” for 12–15 hours. Around 3 a.m. his friends start leaving, and he announces:
“Not now chief... I’m staying.”
Then he meets a 20-year-old woman from Arkansas, tells her he went to business school, pauses dramatically, then says “Umm... Harvard.” When she supposedly doesn’t believe him, he produces a bracelet reading “WINNING in Cabo, HBS SB 2K11” and explains what HBS means. Later in the fuller version he apparently even flashes his HBS ID and puts it in his mouth while dancing. The triumphant conclusion is essentially that she later added him on Facebook and wore his HBS bracelet: “Hahahahah, epic rage. Winning!!”
It is maybe an even purer artifact than “Sup Brady” because every noun is trying desperately to communicate a lifestyle:
Squid Roe. Cabo. shitshow. rage. crushing drinks. in the zone. hot lady friend. Harvard. HBS bracelet. WINNING. epic rage.
And “shitshow rage bar” is incredible because nobody naturally talks like that. It reads like someone trying to write from inside his mental representation of a cool guy. Not “we went to this insane bar”; he has to classify the establishment as a shitshow rage bar, almost as if he's providing stage directions establishing that Cool Social Activity is occurring.
The best part in light of what we were just discussing is that it is the H-bomb fantasy acted out as narrative. The woman asks where he went to school, he initially says only “business school,” waits for her to ask where, and then:
“…Harvard.”
That pause is everything. He has imagined the exact conversational choreography necessary to maximize the prestige reveal. And when the H-bomb somehow fails—she doesn't believe him—the fantasy requires physical documentary evidence: bracelet → explain HBS → HBS ID.
It's basically:
Girl fails to recognize my status → status must be demonstrated more forcefully → she recognizes status → sexual/social victory → WINNING.
Also, years later somebody noticed a rather damaging detail: a poster looked up Squid Roe and claimed it closed at 1 a.m., whereas the story has the crucial events beginning around 3 a.m. That doesn't independently prove fabrication—hours can change over time, special events happen, memories can be wrong—but it's exactly the sort of forensic “JJC studies” detail that kept the story alive.
“Not now chief... I’m staying” and “shitshow rage bar” are probably the two greatest phrases in it.

how did chipwich become a meme on autoadmit
ChatGPT said:
If you mean the “Chipwich” running joke on AutoAdmit (Xoxohth), the frustrating answer is that the surviving public record is pretty thin. I can’t find a reliable archived AutoAdmit thread that documents the origin of the meme.
What I can establish is that “Chipwich” was already being used as a recognizable cultural reference by the mid-2000s. In June 2007, for example, Ann Althouse wrote about the Chipwich as a nostalgic 1982 fad and discussed its trademark/copycat litigation.

The AutoAdmit context matters, though: the site was famous for inside jokes and deliberately nonsensical recurring references. A word or phrase could become a meme simply because a poster introduced it in an absurd context, other posters repeated it ironically, and eventually nobody needed to know the original joke. That makes “Chipwich” particularly hard to trace—the meaning of the meme was often the fact that it was an AutoAdmit in-joke, rather than a reference to something specific.
So I would not confidently tell you a story like “X poster said Y about Chipwich, which caused the meme” without finding the actual archived thread.
If you're asking because you've seen “Chipwich” used in old Xoho/AutoAdmit posts and want to know the specific original joke, I can dig into the old archives/searchable mirrors and try to reconstruct the chain of posts that made it a meme.

Yes. I went back and tried to separate what we actually know from what was speculation in my previous answer. The reconstruction is a little different—and more interesting.
The paper trail
The best surviving source is the 2013 AutoAdmit “origin of every XO meme” thread. Someone asks about “chipwich”, and the first substantive answer is:
“chipwich - a godawful askav meme”
Then, crucially, a poster identified as Askav responds the next morning:
“chipwich didn't start with me, either, but it certainly ended with me.”
So Askav himself is saying he did not coin Chipwich, but that he was the person who made it his own / caused it to become strongly associated with him.

AutoAdmit
There's also an independent piece of evidence that predates that discussion: an old slang site has an entry for “Chipwhich” (with an h) defining it as:
“a term invented at food emporium that has no meaing but sounds ghetto”
and gives the example “yo CHIPWHICH sonnn ima CHIPWHICH yo ass.”
S
Slang Define
That gives us a plausible chronological chain.
1. “Chipwhich” begins as a nonsense word
The earliest trace I can find isn't AutoAdmit at all. It's the Food Emporium story.
Someone apparently started using “chipwhich” as a deliberately stupid invented word. The defining characteristic was that it didn't mean anything. Its appeal was the sound of it.
That's actually important: I don't think the ice-cream sandwich was the original joke.
The slang entry specifically says the term had “no meaning,” and the example uses it as though it were an aggressive slang verb/noun:
“yo CHIPWHICH sonnn…”
So imagine somebody at Food Emporium saying something like this ironically, and other people adopting it because the word itself sounds ridiculous.
2. It migrates into the AutoAdmit ecosystem
At some point, this “chipwhich” expression makes its way into the early AutoAdmit milieu.
The 2013 oral history is remarkably clear that Chipwich was already an established meme by the time of the Askav era, but the person answering the question doesn't claim Askav invented it.
That's consistent with Askav's own correction:
“didn't start with me.”
A
AutoAdmit
So the likely situation is that there was an already-existing bit of ancient board slang which Askav encountered and then absolutely would not let die.
3. Askav turns it from obscure slang into an AutoAdmit meme
This is where the meme appears to have transformed.
The 2013 explanation calls it specifically an “askav meme.” Another poster immediately responds:
“chipwhich is a goat meme”
And Askav's own formulation—“it certainly ended with me”—strongly implies that he became the terminal host of the meme.
A
AutoAdmit
In other words, the joke probably wasn't:
“Let's make jokes about Chipwich ice cream.”
It was closer to:
“Let's say this completely meaningless fucking word because Askav says it.”
That distinction explains why outsiders looking at AutoAdmit years later would have essentially no idea what “Chipwich” was supposed to mean.
4. The spelling mutates
There is another little clue here.
The old slang entry calls it “Chipwhich.”
The AutoAdmit oral history mostly calls it “chipwich”, while one poster deliberately writes:
“chipwhich is a goat meme”
So even the spelling wasn't sacred. That's exactly what you'd expect from a nonsense meme whose sound and association mattered more than its semantic content.

5. By 2013, the origin was already basically lost
This is perhaps the most revealing part.
The 2013 thread is ostensibly someone claiming to know the origins of AutoAdmit memes. Yet when Chipwich comes up, the explanation isn't an elaborate origin story. It's essentially:
Chipwich = Askav meme.
And when Askav himself weighs in, he doesn't say, “Yes, I invented that at Food Emporium in 2003.” He specifically says it didn't start with him.
That suggests that even the participants who were around at the time had already lost the original provenance.
So my best reconstruction is
Food Emporium, probably early 2000s
↓
Someone coins “chipwhich” as a meaningless, intentionally stupid pseudo-slang word.
↓
The expression circulates among a small group / early internet posters.
↓
It reaches AutoAdmit/Xo.
↓
Askav adopts it heavily, perhaps repeatedly enough that people begin associating the word almost exclusively with him.
↓
Other posters start saying “Chipwich” because saying Chipwich is an Askav reference.
↓
The original meaning disappears completely.
↓
By 2013, the board's own oral history can only summarize it as “a godawful askav meme.”
↓
Someone says it's a GOAT meme, which is basically the final stage of an AutoAdmit inside joke: the fact that it makes no sense becomes part of the joke.
A
AutoAdmit
One thing I would retract from my previous answer
I was too confident about Food Emporium → AutoAdmit being a continuous documented chain. We have evidence for both endpoints, but I still haven't found the intermediate post showing exactly how the Food Emporium “chipwhich” entered Xo.
So I would characterize that portion as a strong reconstruction, not a proven chronology.
The really interesting next step would be to hunt specifically for Askav's earliest posts containing “chipwich,” “chipwhich,” or variants, ideally from 2004–2007. If we can find even one or two of those, we may be able to identify who Askav got it from and what the original joke actually was. That would get us much closer to the true origin rather than the 2013 retrospective version.
