Michael Burry closed his fund and kicked out investors so he could put on a massive short without prying eyes. He thinks a major correction is coming due to 1) 70 percent passive, 2) mandatory boomer withdrawals, and 3) the trigger will be a pop in AI.
His Palantir options are already well within the money.

I think the concentration thing ties back to automatic and mandatory rebalancing that results in various funds simultaneously having to dump big winners because they have thrown the fund investment mix out of whack
I've heard about this for a long time but haven't seen it play out in any important way despite the various bubbles and all the concentration in tech and growth
