Man shot dead after crash on Goodfellow
ST. LOUIS – One man is dead and two people are in custody following a shooting in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood late Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. on Goodfellow Boulevard, south of the Natural Bridge Avenue roundabout.
According to Mitch McCoy, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s director off public affairs and information, a minivan and Toyota were both traveling south when the vehicles were involved in a crash. Some point after the crash, several shots were fired.
It’s unclear who the aggressor was, McCoy said.
The shooting victim, a 26-year-old man, was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
