Author: I said RESEMBLE vultures
nobody sane really wants that or any extremist politics at all really
just want a better deal and get driven to extremism by the lack of it. i'll write up a list of demands (jewish bill of rights) once i'm done being mugged and have had some time to recover, preferably with my stupid woman
i'm more pro israel than not but i've said stuff that, in the spectrum of historical israeli politics, is not uncommon or unusual or unprecedented and then they descend on me with their talmud and their talons for it. my stance on iran (rapproachment followed by enabling their liberalization) is genuinely good for israel in the long run but not particularly bloody or carnal i guess. not an issue for me but who knows. i don't think netanyahu's plan for iran is sound or even workable. an occupation and regime change will be an even worse debacle for the US than iraq. american COINTEL gotten much better since then but the iranians are led by genuine ideological fanatics and not a bunch of pan-arab (lol!) socialists well into a regime that had little to do with the founding principles of ba'athism but everything to do with filling saddam's antiguan bank accounts. americans and israelis just want to get back to their lives and focus on the economy for a while i think.
i don't even dislike most of the current coalition in power (UTJ seems smart) and i'm a fan of hasidim and think that what they do is very bold and arch jewish and is also from a deep place of conscience, which is good. hasidim are in their own way sort of like the deep hebrew conscience of israel.
